"Everyone deserves affordable, high quality premium sound."
Meet the founder.
Lucca Chesky, CEO & Founder (Freshman @ Carnegie Mellon University)
Chesky Audio was founded by Lucca Chesky with a lifelong fascination for sound and a drive to build something of his own.
Lucca's Story
The idea began at Princeton’s 3D Audio & Applied Acoustics Lab, where Lucca first realized his interest could become something real. At 17 years old, during his senior year of high school, he took the leap and started Chesky Audio.
The company was born out of his bedroom at home, balancing school by day and building a future in audio by night. What started as a personal passion quickly grew into a serious pursuit—one rooted in curiosity, commitment, and a deep respect for the craft of audio.
Today, Chesky Audio reaches listeners around the world, but it remains driven by the same energy that started it all: genuine passion for music and the desire to share it through sound.
Handcrafted Without Compromise
Every Chesky Audio speaker is designed and assembled in the United States, without shortcuts or outsourced compromises.
We use carefully chosen drivers, precision crossover components, and robust materials to ensure each speaker delivers honest performance and long-term reliability. Every unit is assembled, tested, and refined by hand—because true craftsmanship is the result of process, not scale.
This approach allows us to give you exceptional value: speakers that feel intentional, sound natural, and are built to last.
Pushing the Boundaries of Audio
High-end audio doesn’t need to be exclusive—it needs to evolve.
Lucca Chesky rethinks loudspeaker design through his 3D-printed monocoque cabinet construction, used in the LC1 and LC2 Reference Monitors. Instead of traditional wooden enclosures, our cabinets are engineered as single, high-mass structures that reduce resonance, increase rigidity, and improve clarity.
By leveraging advanced 3D printing, we achieve levels of precision and consistency that are difficult to reach with conventional manufacturing—while reducing waste and unnecessary cost. The result is a better cabinet, a better-sounding speaker, and a more accessible entry into true high-end audio.
