Lucca Chesky is a speaker designer who is also a musician who plays piano, drums, and guitar. After a summer of research at Princeton University 3D Audio and Applied Acoustics Lab Lucca developed the first prototype of the LC1, the first speaker of Chesky Audio. After extended research and further development of the original concept, Chesky Audio brings high-end audio not just to connoisseurs but to new audiences eager to discover the depth of high end sound.
Lucca is now immerse in research and studies at Carnegie Mellon University from where he developed the newest addition to the Chesky Audio collection, the LC2 Reference Monitor.
True to the Chesky Audio mission the LC2 delivers super-speaker performance for a fraction of the price! Using the same totally inert, monocoque double-walled, composite-filled cabinet construction as the acclaimed LC1, the LC2 expands on its Little brothers excellence with deeper bass, greater detail, and astonishing imaging. Featuring new components such as dual-chamber aperiodic low-distortion tweeters, a high-definition cast-basket bass/midrange driver, and a precision-engineered crossover, the LC2 transforms any room into a symphony of sound.
